Ode to the flying fiber artists

Well, Etsy has been down for what seems like an eternity today but it's ok.  I'm watching the most amazing thing - it happens every day but still it's so inspiring.
Two noisy little birds are building a nest on the side of my house under an eve.  They're about five feet from where I'm sitting.  It's so beautiful.   They  are building like mad like mad.  I've found nests all over my yard,  in my trees, under my eves etc...
The nests are made of an amazing array of  materials.  I've found the usual twigs, mud, and moss but what really excites me is when I find the white strands of hair from my Puli dog and Angora rabbit in the mix.
These birds are fiber artists in the truest sense!

I saw a crow lining its nest with a plastic bag today! Is that the ultimate in recycling?
Love the goose. Glassprimitif
